An open house at Baton Rouge Community College.
Tour the state-of-the-art facility and learn about the many non-traditional, career-ready, educational opportunities that they offer right here in Central.
Nondestructive Testing: Nondestructive testing is the process of inspecting, testing or evaluating materials, components, or assemblies for discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system. This program only takes four months to complete and has a 98% job placement rate. The starting salary for graduates is $52,000.
Process Technology: The Process Technology program prepares students to become refinery, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industry-related operators. The training includes working with functional a 40ft Glycol Unit on site. This two-and-a-half-year program has an 80% job placement rate and graduates can expect a 100k starting salary.
